Raw Talent was a start-up founded to be a creative alternative to the more predictable offerings of better known online stock photography services. Raw Talent wanted a unique look and feel for their newly launched online photo boutique powered by a powerful ecommerce system with easily editable database-driven functionality. Raw Talent needed a flexible, easy-to-manage-and-modify ecommerce interface that would allow the site to grow and change to meet the needs of their new business.
The Silicon Beach Westnet team combined the standard features of the ShopLojix ecommerce engine with its intuitive, easy-to-use interface for searching, storing and ordering from the easily editable Raw Talent Photo image database. Web-based management tools were customized for Raw Talent to give non-technical staff the ability to easily update the photo archives as new photographers and their work became available. Specially designed features, like the automatic thumbnail image maker, saved the client expensive staff time while standardizing image entry during the database construction process.
A comprehensive ecommerce system built on NetLojix proprietary ebusiness engine, ShopLojix, was successfully implemented with a fully load-balanced hosting solution offering Oracle database and NetApp storage support.
